Monday Murals - Forgotten
Located on the rear of a shop in Port Perry, Ontario. It's been neglected and almost forgotten.

Lacrosse Rocks
The Toronto Rock goalie's helmet is under construction at VooDoo Airbrushing. The Rock is Toronto's lacrosse team of the National Lacrosse League. They say it's the fastest game on two feet. The average lacrosse league salary is only about $22,000. Even those who play the game year-round in professional leagues still have day jobs. The low salaries keep the cost of the league down. And that keeps the cost of the tickets down... one of the other reasons why the games are so popular with fans. With single ticket prices ranging from $15 to $80, lacrosse is one of our last few affordable sporting activities.

Monday Mural - Support Our Troops
I like driving down countryside dead end dirt roads. Sometimes I come across a gem like this one painted on a topless silo. It is located on private property not close to the roadway. The best I can make out the artist name is J Tevot. I'm linking to Monday Mural.

Monday Murals - Farmers Market
Another of my favorite murals from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Established in 1750, the Historic Halifax Market is located in the Keith's Brewery. The Market is the oldest continuously running market in North America. The mural is a tribute to the old market that is now getting competition from the new Seaport Market. I'm linking to Carolyn's Monday Mural.

Dumb & Dumber
This winter Frenchman's Bay did freeze over but due the mild weather it was never stable. Of course this did not discourage people from wandering onto the ice. The last few days temperatures have gone up and most of the water has opened up. Unfortunately I only had my 55 mm lens with me when I took this photo of the die hard fishermen on the brink of disaster. In order to get the best view click on the image.

Monday Murals - Bowmanville
Artist: Todd Tremeer. Historic Bowmanville: King St. looking west, circa 1900. Over the years, much of King St., has remained the same & many of the original buildings still stand. I'm linking to Carolyn's Monday Mural.
