Photo Project, In Search Of Colour #1

Andy | Monday, December 01, 2014 | Best Blogger Tips

This is the time of year when everything turns drab. ...And yes. That is me in my drab coloured clothing.

Reading

Andy | Friday, November 07, 2014 | Best Blogger Tips

Borrowed this from my son. I always thought I knew Nearly Everything but I learned a ton of stuff from this book. I am glad my son noticed my one and only fault and took the appropriate action.

Incorruptible Cashier

Andy | Wednesday, October 08, 2014 | Best Blogger Tips

James Ritty, was tired of the dishonesty of his bartenders who were pocketing some of his profits and had an idea of a way to solve the problem. In 1879 he applied for a patent. The result was “Ritty’s Incorruptible Cashier” which became the prototype for the cash registers used today. The National Cash Register Company of Dayton bought the rights to the patent and became the largest manufacturer of cash registers in the world.

Outdoor Furnace

Andy | Wednesday, March 05, 2014 | Best Blogger Tips

The central boiler outdoor furnace is located typically 30 to 200 feet away from your home or building, and works with any existing heating system. Wood is the most common fuel used in it's operation.

UFO

Andy | Thursday, January 02, 2014 | Best Blogger Tips

Just before 6 a.m. the electric power went off. So I decided to take some photos out the front upper window. I just happen to catch theses two UFO's as they whizzed by. Rumour has it that they steal our light and make everything dark. Scientists theorize that they do this just before they depart Earth for their home planet. The reason behind it is because they suspect the aliens have many light years to travel. Fortunately they went easy on us and the power was only out for about an hour.

Power Shovel

Andy | Friday, November 01, 2013 | Best Blogger Tips

I'm from an older generation and I think steam shovel was a much more romantic name than power shovel. This one is working on a new subdivision in Ajax, Ontario. Even though everyone here seems to agree that the governments of all levels have failed to build  a proper transportation infrastructure, urban spal continues.

Shopping Cart Racks

Andy | Friday, October 11, 2013 | Best Blogger Tips

With the new Target Store ready to open in about a month the cart return racks are ready to be put in place. When Target first announced they where opening their chain of stores in Canada we had high expectations for them. So far I can't find anyone that's impressed with them.
