A simple mural with no credits or info. It's located in the Town Of Ajax, Ontario. Before I became interested in photographing murals I drove past this one hundreds of times and never noticed it. Things have changed and it's not too often that miss a mural any more.
I'm linking to Monday Mural.
You are right, I never noticed murals, but thanks to this blog I hardly miss any. This is a nice mural to fresh up the white wall.
ReplyDeleteSometimes murals have a more amateur like approach as other times. This is one of those in my mind. But always better then just the wall of this industrial shed.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how "insightful"we become once we are interested in photography? It's like growing another pair of eyes. Yes, it is a mural one could miss if one wasn't alert! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteMe too! And I seem to see them everywhere these days.
ReplyDeleteI love lighthouses ... whether they are for real or in a painting. The coastline reminds me of the area around the Portland Headlight in Maine.
ReplyDeleteThe same has happened to me! I see murals all over the place now, of course it doesn't hurt that I'm looking. They're so optimistic I think.
ReplyDeleteSomeone rightly thought this grey building could use a little sprucing up. I bet the next time the artist will feel okay using the whole wall. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteIt makes the small, gray, blocky building look better.
