The Pan Am Games will be the largest multi-sport event ever hosted in Canada when it kicks off in the summer of 2015. More than 10,000 athletes and officials from 41 countries will be taking take part. Toronto will be the host city but many of the events will be taking place in towns and cities in Greater Toronto Area. As usual I can't find any info the artist. I'm linking to Monday Mural.

really nice, though!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very long mural! Effective for lap swimming!
ReplyDeleteExcellent mural! Do you think it's really painted on their?
ReplyDeleteYes I do. If you look below the swimmer's arm, slightly to left of the elbow you will see a pipe that goes up the side of building. It has been painted to match the colours of the mural. If it had been a stick on poster the workers would not have gone to trouble of adding paint to the pipe.
DeleteVery nice find! Although the swimmers colors clash a little with the CIBC colors. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a pretty dynamic image. You can really feel the explosive energy of competitive swimming. I'm guessing she's doing the butterfly stroke. Great advertising for the upcoming events. Thanks, Andy, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThat is a super mural for the games. Great ad!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait for the traffic jams. :))
