Artist Tom Denomme. London, Ontario in 2000. It was commissioned by a pool and billiards hall of the same name that used to be at that location. Denomme was graphic design professor at Fanshawe College. He since passed away on April 20, 2005. I'm linking to Monday Mural.
Annandale Golf And Curling Club is located in Ajax, Ontario and has four murals painted on the outside wall. The first mural was so badly covered with shrubs growing that I could not get a photo of it. Mural #2 represents the golfing that happens here.

This one represents the curling that takes place inside of the building.

There is no artist name on any of the murals. So I can't give credit. I'm not sure about this one but I think it has something to do with academics. These photos are a few months old and since that time the shrubs have been removed. After the that the murals were painted over and are gone forever. I'm linking to Monday Mural.
Artist: Todd Tremeer. Painted in 2000. Bowmanville has been making rubber goods for over a century. In 1896 the short lived Bowmanville Rubber Co. was created & sold to The Durham Rubber Co. The factory made everything from rubber balls and elastic bands to fire hose and tires.
When the Canadian Government imposed a heavy duty on American made tires in 1910, Goodyear from Akron Ohio, bought and expanded the Bowmanville plant to make tires for the fledgling automobile industry.
WWI turned Bowmanville into a busy factory town, and Goodyear's contribution to the face and economy of this town also increased. During the war, many local homes were built by Goodyear to help house some of it's 900 employees.
Today the Bowmanville Plant is the oldest Goodyear plant in the world.
This mural was made possible by Goodyear Bowmanville, friends of Bowmanville.

This year I have been neglecting "My Old Tree". My original plan was to keep on photographing it throughout the four seasons of the year. I finally returned a few days ago to see how it was doing.

The tree looked just great. The only thing noticeably wrong is the almost complete lack of apples on the tree. I could only see six of them. This year the apple crop in Southern Ontario is running as high as 85% failure. Warm weather arrived earlier than normal. The blossoms came and then the weather turn cold destroying most of the blooms. No blossoms, no apples.
Artist Andrew Silk painted the murals in 2008 located on opposite walls of a narrow lane way. The hockey players have rounded edges like the players in a old table hockey game.
The artist won a competition to create hockey related murals in honour of London’s hosting of the Junior World Cup in 2007 - 2008. I'm linking to Monday Mural.
