Snow always looks it's best before someone disturbs it.

  1. Andy! I have to be around mountains. I grew up here and love it here. (Utah) My HM and I traveled to Texas about 6 yrs ago on a road trip and goshhhhhh I couldn't stand the flatness for miles. Around Austin their are a few hills and dales and my fam there would call them mountains. Haaa! This mountain (in the pic) is the mountain I view off of my front door step. I LOVE IT. It gets the most unusual lighting during sunsets. Hey, feel free to follow me on GFC, k?

  2. Oh yes, I agree.
The snow around here is all dirty and slushy and, I would say, photographically ugly.

  3. You are absolutely right re snow. And you've proven in here. Gorgeous shot, Andy. The light makes it as it washes over the snow and the tree.

  4. So far only the tree shadows touch the snow. The lacy, leafless trees provide subtle color to your winter scene.
