I wonder why the windows are bricked up. I guess they just use that camera on the wall to see outside. I agree with Tom. Greed is the likely culprit.
Sigh...it's because we ship all our jobs overseas. At the place where my husband works, they laid off almost all their manufacturing staff, and sent the work over to China.

Does bricking in of windows make a building more or less usable?
