St. Jacobs Farmer's Market

After a fire that destroyed the original wood barn that housed the farmer's market a temporary new barn has risen from the ashes. Business has returned at the St. Jacobs Farmer's Market. The construction of a new main building is already under way. One of the things that make this market unique is the number of vendors from the local Mennonite community.

  2. That's quite a good solution for the situation. My cousin's worked that market for years- I think he's still there once a week. He has his own orchard and grows apples in the Cambridge area.

  3. Wow, even as a temporary building, that is very impressive! Our farmer's market has nothing like this.

  5. I can't believe I was meaning to go there during the summer and now it is the end of November and I still haven't been. I admit to shedding a few tears when the old place burnt down.
